DHS Mobile Notary

Digital Brand Development & Customer Experience Redesign

The Challenge

DHS Mobile Notary initially operated with a simple one-page Canva website that provided a basic online presence but offered limited functionality and room for growth. As the business expanded, the website needed to better communicate available services, establish credibility, and make it easier for potential clients to request appointments.

The goal was to create a professional website that reflected the quality of the business while improving the overall customer experience and supporting future growth.

Objectives

  • Transition to a more robust website platform

  • Create a professional and trustworthy online presence

  • Expand the website beyond a single page

  • Introduce and promote additional service offerings

  • Simplify customer inquiries and communication

  • Build a scalable website for future business growth

My Approach

I redesigned the website from the ground up and migrated the business from Canva to Squarespace, providing greater design flexibility, improved functionality, and a stronger foundation for future expansion.

Rather than maintaining a single-page website, I developed a multi-page experience that better organized the company's services and made it easier for visitors to navigate the site.

As the business grew, I introduced a dedicated page for a new service, giving it its own space to educate prospective clients and improve discoverability.

To reduce friction in the customer journey, I created inquiry forms and implemented multiple communication options, allowing visitors to contact the business instantly by phone, text message, or email with a single click.

Creative Systems Developed

  • Website migration strategy

  • Multi-page website architecture

  • Information architecture

  • Service page development

  • Customer inquiry workflows

  • Contact experience optimization

  • Mobile-first responsive design

  • Call-to-action strategy

  • User experience improvements

  • Squarespace implementation

Results

  • Successfully migrated the website from Canva to Squarespace

  • Expanded the website from a single landing page into a comprehensive business website

  • Improved the customer experience through clearer navigation and dedicated service pages

  • Simplified communication by providing one-click contact options via phone, text, and email

  • Created a scalable platform to support future business growth and additional services

Design Thinking

For service-based businesses, every extra step can reduce the likelihood that a potential customer will make contact. The redesign focused on removing barriers by organizing information into clear service pages and making it as easy as possible for visitors to reach the business through their preferred communication method.

The result was a professional digital presence designed to build trust, improve accessibility, and support business growth.
